Time flying by

Well, i've been meaning to post here but just can't seem to find the time lately.It seems that there is never enough time to do the extra stuff. The extra stuff being the kind of stuff that is above the everyday necessities like eating, brushing your teeth, making sure the kids eat and brush their teeth . . . I promise, more will come.

So, I finally got to go flying today in the brand new C182T. What a great flight! Well actually the airplane did most of the flying but it was fun to get to play with all the features it has. While we were taking the pictures, the airplane started a gentle bank to the right. We looked at each other and both exclaimed "what?" and then the light came on in our brains. We were right over Red Deer and now the autopliot was just following the route that we had entered into the GPS - continuing on to 3 Hills! We laughed for awhile over this, what a good girl, just doing what we told her to do. The weather didn't allow us to land in Rocky or Red Deer but we got to fly VFR-OTT, which is something that doesn't present itself very often, at least not for me.

So this is the beginning.

Now it has begun. On online sharing of my life with the outside. I can only hope that it will be . . . I don't know. I guess we'll see.
